Skin roller
Until recently Microneedling has been a dear treatment requiring you to visit a specialist; however Skin Needling has become a familiar part of daily life in many normal house holds. The Derma-Roller is a easy to use device with many sterilized tiny needles which, as they are rolled over the skin, carefull separate the pores of the top layer of skin and set off the healing process increasing the production of collagen and elastin.
Collagen is required for skin to cosmetically heal
It is the production of this extra collagen and elastin that makes all the difference, the primary cause of the development of skin problems including stretch marks and wrinkles is a lack of collagen and elastin in the skin, when this is replaced the skin goes back to its smooth and firm state. When an injury occurs, such as a puncture, the skin repairs itself to stay healthy; but unfortunately the skin doesn’t heal to a cometic level.
For scarring, stretch marks and Wrinkles to be removed or reduced, the skin needs to believe that there is reason to begin healing and produce more collagen and elastin, using a Derma-roller achieves this by gently opening the pores of the epidermis giving the impression of a trauma on the skin and needing to be repaired. Repeating the process of Micro-Needling will make sure that you skin heals itself to a cosmetic level.
Is Micro-Needling the best option?
In compasison to other practices, Skin Needling is much cheaper and better then treatments such as just using creams because the skin only absorbs a small percentage of creams applied, however when applied after using the Dermaroller the creams are absorbed significantly better as the pores are open.
Skin Needling can be used to remove a range of skin conditions; Stretch marks, Cellulite, Wrinkles, pitted skin, acne scars, surgery scars, scars, crow’s feet etc
